Due to pirate activity between the Seychelles and the coast of Africa, our itinerary was changed. Instead of visiting Mombasa, Kenya and Zanzibar, Tanzania, we headed due south to the Republic of Mauritius and Reunion Island.
On Mauritius, we did a city tour that included the Botanical Gardens. The large lily pads and giant tortoises were quite amazing.
Reunion is a smaller French island and we walked around the town of Saint Denis.
Those lili pads remind me of my tart pan!
